We have finished the piece with a clear wood wax to protect and enhance the design and the wood. To keep it looking its best for longer clear with a soft cloth and reapply clear wood wax as needed. Avoid wet polishes. Hang away from direct sunlight and away from direct sources of heat (over or near radiators etc) and damp environments such as bath rooms and kitchens.
