Wooden pyrography bookmark with a hand burnt design.
A great gift idea for book lovers, as a small token on its own or partnered with a new book (or choose one of your old favourites) to make a personal gift for a friend, loved one or a treat for yourself.
Prepping each wooden pyrography bookmark starts with sanding by hand. The designs are hand drawn before using pyrography techniques to complete the bookmark. Inspiration for the designs comes from our adventures around Staffordshire and Derbyshire as well as imaginings from our favourite books.
We finish each bookmark with a clear gloss lacquer to protect the wood and design without damaging the pages of your favourite book. A colourful silky tassel is added to complete the bookmark. If you would prefer a specific colour you can contact us in advance or put a note on your order and we will do our very best to supply your chosen colour. Measurements – 5 x 18cm (there may be slight variations on size).
To keep it looking its best for longer please keep you wooden bookmark out of direct sunlight as over time this may have a bleaching effect. Avoid chewing (even when the book gets a bit scary! and its best to keep away from pets and small children).
