About Us
CG Wood Crafts is an online and at market business. We create wooden gifts and home wares in our Staffordshire workshop using a range of wood crafting techniques. You can find us out and about at artisan markets and crafts fairs across Staffordshire & Derbyshire.
We have an eco-conscious approach to making where we aim to make sure that every usable piece, spare bit, off cut, chunk, block, slab, branch and log is put to good use and turned into something beautiful. Nothing goes to waste.
Please be aware that currently we are only selling and shipping within the UK (not including N.I). We are not able to sell or ship to the E.U, USA or Canada

Eco-conscious
Driving to events and using power tools will mean that we can’t quite be 100% green but we can do our bit and be eco-conscious. “More makes, less waste” – the makes just get smaller until the usable bits are all used up.
We use woods from as locally as possible. Some of which we have hauled from muddy fields on farms and land in the village. Reuse, recycle and repurpose is also a big part of our working ethos. Even the “whoops” pieces get reworked.
Custom and Bespoke Orders
We have had the absolute pleasure of creating beautiful and unique pieces for birthdays, weddings, celebrations and for memorials.
From bookmarks, keyrings and wood turned pen sets to bespoke bases from Moorcroft vases, ring boxes and personalised Christmas decorations.
It starts with an idea and a story and then the pieces come to life. If you are not entirely sure about what it is you are looking for, don’t worry. Some of our best makes have started with “I need a gift but I don’t know what!” We will work with you to create something beautiful.
