We have a “more makes, less waste” ethos.  This means we challenge our creativity, making sure that every bit of usable branch, log, slab, plank, offcut and scrap is put to good use.  No off cut is too small and something can be made.  Much of the wood is gathered locally from farms and gardens, some of which has been cut, cleared and hauled by us ready to be turned into something beautiful.

As a business using power tools and travelling to craft fairs we can’t ever be 100% eco friendly.  But, we can be eco-conscious.  Using recycled papers for our stationary and packaging, making much of it ourselves as a when its needed to cut down on waste and travel time of materials.  Choosing local and sustainable wood mills for when we need specific cuts and materials reduces out carbon footprint.  Using eco-mailer bags mean we can reduce additional packaging when you order a gift.  The package can be sent gift ready and protected whilst travelling (look our for the travelling turtle on the bags).
