Description
A Large wooden pyrography bookmark, hand burnt with a floral blossom design. Each bookmark is handcrafted by me, from the initial sanding and preparation, to hand drawing the design and finally burning using pyrography techniques. I then finish your pyrography bookmark with a colourful silky tassel. Your Pyrography bookmark measures 18.5 x 5cm so hopefully not easy misplaced, but will make a great reading guide for younger readers too.
The great outdoors, nature, and our favourite books and stories inspire and influence the designs for our wooden bookmarks.
The colourful tassels are chosen to suit the design. If you would prefer a specific colour you can contact us in advance or put a note on your order and we will do our very best to supply your chosen colour. We use a clear gloss lacquer to protect the wood and design without damaging the pages of your favourite book.
Buying from us
We are an at market and online business. We attend artisan markets and craft fairs across Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Are stall and website shop are linked so you can shop with us face to face at markets and from the comfort of your own home. This also means that as most of our pieces are one of a kind and beautifully unique once they are gone, they are gone!
