Description
A simple but stylish wooden keyring on a chromed metal bead style keyring. We handcraft in our Staffordshire workshop using the various small pieces left over from larger projects. Cutting each of the keyrings on the bandsaw or scroll saw before sanding and shaping. Each piece gets a final hand sanding and buff polish with carnauba wax. The wax adds the shine as well as enhancing and protecting the wood.
Unique and beautiful. The shape, colour and size may vary slightly between pieces, no two are exactly alike.
With use the keyring may become dinked, or marked. This can be sanded to remove (make sure that a wood wax or protectant is reapplied after sanding) or left to add the uniqueness and story of the piece.
Eco-conscious. The wood used to make these wooden keyrings comes from our spare pieces and off cuts, cutting down on waste and ensuring every usable piece is used.
Product care:
To keep the wooden keyring looking its best for longer:
- wipe clean if needed, restore lustre with a clear natural wood wax (remove excess and buff allowing to fully dry / cure before using). Do not submerge in water.
- not suitable for very young children
Buying from us:
We are an at market and online business. We attend artisan markets and craft fairs across Staffordshire and Derbyshire where you can shop with us face to face and chat about our processes and each piece. If you can’t make it out to see us you can pop the kettle on and shop from the comfort of your own home.
This also means that as most of our pieces are one of a kind and beautifully unique once they are gone, they are gone!
