Description
A wood turned Ash textured decorative dish with carved detailing for a rustic, natural look.
The Ash wood used for this piece was sourced locally from a farm near Ashbourne, Staffs and you can see all the natural grain and colourings.
Measuring 16.5 cm in diameter, 9.5 cm in height this decorative dish is designed to be used as a centre piece. Leave it as it is or fill it with sweets, potpourri or your favourite trinkets and treasures. It will work really well for loose change and keys too.
I have finished the dish with a hard wax oil to keep the natural colouring and protect the wood.
Product Care:
Wood is a natural material than can change and alter over time. Every knock and dink adds to the character and story of the piece. You can keep it looking its best, for longer by:
- Keeping out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat and moisture (next to radiators, fires and open flame, or bathrooms etc)
- Don’t put wood in the dishwasher or soak in water (it can’t swim!)
- Wipe clean
- Restore with wood wax. Avoid wet spray polishes
